Mike, a seasoned minister of the Gospel, has served in various churches across our state. After retiring as a full-time pastor, he worked for several years with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. In recent years, he has been serving as a transitional or interim pastor in Southern Baptist Churches.
Mike joins us at Funston Baptist Church to lead us through a time of transition as we seek the Lord’s call for the next pastor.
Mike has served as senior pastor of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia, and Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. He has also served the Georgia Baptist Convention.
Mike and his wife, Debbie, have two adult sons who are both pastors.
